About Evan

Hello, I'm Evan Agustian Lukius. I'm passionate about learning and understanding different cultures. I studied Information Technology at Universitas Kristen Maranatha Bandung and discovered a love for Japanese language and culture at Hokusei Gakuen University.

My time as Chief of General Affairs at the International Student Conference taught me to plan well, handle budgets, and collaborate across different teams. In Public Relations, I created interesting content and built important relationships.

I actively participated in the JNSA Fund English campaign, contributing to its initiatives for education, health, and community welfare. Engaging in fundraising activities and awareness drives, I played a role in supporting causes and striving for positive changes, enhancing opportunities for those in need.

Engaged students in understanding Indonesia's colorful heritage, fostering cultural appreciation and exchange.

Kumamoto Shin'ai Girl's Junior Highschool

I delivered a vibrant presentation on Indonesian culture at Kumamoto Shin'ai Girl's Junior Highschool. Covered diverse aspects: rich traditions, arts like batik, diverse cuisines, and the significance of cultural practices. Engaged students in understanding Indonesia's colorful heritage, fostering cultural appreciation and exchange.

Kampus mengajar in maluku islands

I taught English and IT in Tual, Maluku, from September to December 2022. At SD Kristen 1 Tual, I had the rewarding experience of engaging with students eager to learn. Notably, the school actively participated in a competition in Singapore, showcasing the students' talents on an international platform. Witnessing their dedication and achievements was a fulfilling aspect of my time there. This teaching stint not only allowed me to contribute to their education but also fostered a sense of collaboration and global awareness. The vibrant atmosphere and the students' enthusiasm made my brief tenure in Tual a memorable and impactful experience.
